The Overlooked Motel
The Overlooked Motel transformed a “non-space”, a usually locked roof terrace at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow, into a site of theatre, performance and dream space. This was my graduation show for my degree in Sculpture and Installation, Glasgow School of Art, 2011.
The audience were led from the Glasgow School of Art in to the Mackintosh School of Architecture, which I re-branded “The Overlooked Motel”. The lifts were a roaring sucess. I papered and carpetted them, and had Elvis playing on a loop.
